Parkers Back

After reading Parkers Back outside of class it seems like the story that can relate to a majority of people who believe in the Christian lifestyle. What it seems to be is that of a young man who at first does not believe in Christ and tends to think that he is his own creator and destroyer. Married to just about the complete opposite individual, Sara Ruth relies heavenly on what the bible tells her about living life. As the story moved on, it became a little interesting as you wondered if anything was going to change between them. Near the end Parker decides to get a tattoo on his back resembling Christ. He did this as a chance to impress Sara Ruth. When as a result he became closer to the savior and began to notice what he had been missing out on all his life. Though the story does not have a definite ending, it was a decent short story to have read.
