Revelation

Revelation, a short story written by Flannery O’Connor, is mainly about a Older woman who goes into a health clinic waiting room a stuck up lady and then after a small scruffle leaves a changed lady who see things in a different way. The story itself starts off a little slow while an elderly lady looks around the waiting room she was in and begins to notice things wrong with people. As discussed in class, it does seem to make herself seem superior to all others the way she describes others in retrospect to herself. That is probably how the fight got started, possibly when she was arguing with the fat, acne faced, girl. When the book hits the grandma, she has a new aspect of life and begins to question why god made her white instead of something else. Honestly, I did not like the story because I got lost through almost the whole thing, which is why my reflection might not be correct.
