Scanning over the creative writing ideas, I noticed one that stated write an excuse to not go to work today. This specific one caught the eye. As everyone knows the main excuse for not coming in to work ranges from my car broke down to I am sick. But if you are going to lie about an excuse to not go to work why not make one worth claiming, or even just state the truth. For example, If you have a hangover, just say that you are vomiting everywhere and don’t want to endanger the people and customers of your work environment. Thus saying you don’t actually have to say you had a hangover and were irresponsible and decided to get trashed knowing you had to wake up at five in the morning. So in the end, you can lie and then be looked down upon by management or just state the truth and be proclaimed in a way.
